Green Day performed fifteen new tracks at a surprise last minute show for fans at the Tiki Bar 1700 Placentia in California last week.
The band, who are currently working on the follow-up to 2009's "21st Century Breakdown," played almost an entire set of previously unheard songs.
In a recent message on Twitter, singer Billie Joe Armstrong said they had "a tonne of new songs", adding that they were "fresh and hi-energy".Among the new tracks were "Nuclear Family", "Carpe Diem" and "8th Avenue Seranade" as well as a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's "Goodbye To Romance".
Along with playing a slew of previously unheard tracks, Green Day honored the late Amy Winehouse by debuting a new song, "Amy".
